 Isak was nearly thirteen years old, when I made the decision that he had too weak muscles and too much arthritis  to live without the pain I had promised myself none of my dogs should have to suffer. This is a promise I have always been able to keep, but with Isak I really had to struggle with myself. Finally on the 16th. of April we took our last trip together. He would have been 13 years in a few weeks time.

When I got home without him, I felt like the house was empty in spite of having my three bitches and four unsold puppies from the litters born in January .Being his owner for 13 years was a privilege, and I hope I gave him the life he deserved.

His special mate Perditas Flower Power, is still looking for him, and she has become very strict with the other dogs, as she now carries the responsibility as leader all on her own. She seems to behave towards the younger ones as if her motto is “better safe than sorry”. Hopefully things will get back to normal in a few weeks time.

Isak  fathered nine  litters in Norway, one in Finland and one in Germany. Seven of his litters were born here with us.

 His first litter was born in 1995,and the dam was Perditas Long Live Love.

 From this litter Perditas Killing Me Softly was sent to Finland and had a litter for Tanja Lønnquist kennel Firehouse. She kept a dog Firehouse Frantic Fullback who has fathered some litters in Finland.

Perditas Keep Track was bought by the Gwynmor kennel in Holland and they have kept two of her daughters.

 Perditas Knight of Night was sold privately and has had two litters in Norway.

 His second litter was born in 1996, the dam being Perditas Key to Heaven, here I kept Perditas Improved Issue. She had one litter with my own prefix and gave me Perditas Give me Five (who is the mother of Perditas Flower Power). Two sisters were also bred from Perditas I Insist and Perditas Ironic Item.

 His third litter was born in1997. This was the one with Long Live love that I had not planned, but they managed to mate without my knowledge. The result: Perditas Kind Hearted (Kennel Dalmrosa) and six brothers, where Knock About went to Finland and Kick Spot was sold to Germany.

 Isak now had a break untill 2001, when I got back a bitch called Perditas Happy Happening.(Kennel Forst Eichenhorst Tyskland) They were mated and among others gave Perditas E-mail, Perditas Eager to Please and Perditas Ever So Nice.

I had been contacted by a German breeder Beate Elsner kennel vom Forst Eichenhorst. She wanted a bitch with all teeth and BAER +/+. I suggested that she came to have a look at P. Happy Happening. The end of the story was that she took her along having just had time to mate her to Isak.before she left

She got her Edelweiss vom Forst Eichenhorst out of this mating.

 Then in 2002-2003 and 2005 he had litters mated to Perditas Inter action. This combination gave us among others Perditas Dusty Dee, Perditas Dutyfree (Kennel Daladin), Perditas Double Decoration, Perditas Dacapo, Perditas Darling Daughter (Kennel Falcatus Ungarn) Perditas Dotty Design.(Kennel Perdita)

He also had a litter with P.Flower Power, where one bitch left for Hungary P. Call Me Madam she has had one litter for Istvan Cserni kennel Falcatus.

Isak was topwinning Dalmatian in Norway in 1996, getting his qualifying certificate from Arne Foss at our clubs 10 years celebration show with more than 100 entries.

Arne again judged Isak 10 years later at our  club`s 20 years anniversary, he was now a 12 year old veteran. I swear I saw tears in Arnes eyes.

Isak was very special, not only to me but to everybody that knew him. He was an undisputed leader, and I learnt a lot from him as to how to treat puppies and youngsters. He was never aggressive, but ruled them with a friendly paw
